Strategi Humas Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (DISKOMINFO) Provinsi Jawa Barat dalam Mensosialisasikan Informasi melalui Program Media Pertunjukan Rakyat

dc.description Abstract. Media performances of the people is a medium used by the Office of Communications and Informatics West Java Province to disseminate information. This activity became the flagship program owned by DISKOMINFO. Public relations is a management function that assesses public attitudes, and plans an activity and communication program to gain understanding and public support. As a PR, PR DISKOMINFO should be able to be a mediator or as a liaison between the community and the authorities. The purpose of this study is to find out the PR Strategy DISKOMINFO in disseminating information through the media performances of the people. The research method used is descriptive, that is method which only give description or description about variable from a phenomenon under study. This research uses PR strategy that proposed by Rosady Ruslan, Rosady Ruslan proposed that there are 5 aspects of public relations strategies that can be done to realize the common goals are: 1. Operasional Strategies, 2. Approach of Persuasive and Educative, 3. Approach of Public Relations Responsibilities, 4. Approach of Cooperations, 5. Approach of coordinative and Integrative. By using aspects of public relations strategy, the researcher can find what activities conducted by Public Relations DISKOMINFO in disseminating information through the media of the people's performance. Public Relations DISKOMINFO conducts gathering activities to strengthen relationships with employees of DISKOMINFO, receive criticism and suggestions from the community and follow up as public relations responsibilities and build facilities and infrastructure for the community. Cooperate with various parties that play an important role in information dissemination activities. Participate in socializing the government's flagship information to support national development.Keywords: Public Relations Strategy, Socialization, Media Pertunjukan  RakyatAbstrak. Media pertunjukan rakyat merupakan sebuah media yang digunakan oleh Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Provinsi Jawa Barat untuk mensosialisasikan informasi. Kegiatan ini menjadi program unggulan yang dimiliki oleh DISKOMINFO. Public relations adalah fungsi manajemen yang menilai sikap publik, serta merencanakan suatu program kegiatan dan komunikasi untuk memperoleh pengertian dan dukungan publiknya. Sebagai seorang Humas, Humas DISKOMINFO harus mampu menjadi mediator atau sebagai penghubung antara masyarakat dengan pihak yang berwenang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi Humas DISKOMINFO dalam mensosialisasikan informasi melalui media pertunjukan rakyat. Metode yang digunakan adalah dekriptif, yaitu metode yang hanya memberikan gambaran atau deskripsi tentang variabel dari sebuah fenomena yang diteliti. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori strategi humas yang dikemukakan oleh Rosady Ruslan, Rosady Ruslan mengemukakan bahwa ada 5 aspek strategi humas yang dapat dilakukan untuk mewujudkan tujuan bersama yaitu: 1. Strategi Operasional, 2. Pendekatan persuasif dan edukatif, 3. Pendekatan tanggung jawab sosial humas, 4. Pendekatan kerjasama, dan 5. Pendekatan koordinatif dan integratif. Dengan menggunakan aspek-aspek strategi humas tersebut peneliti dapat menemukan kegiatan apa yang dilakukan oleh Humas DISKOMINFO dalam mensosialisasikan informasi melalui media pertunjukan rakyat. Humas DISKOMINFO melaksanakan kegiatan gathering untuk mempererat hubungan dengan pegawai DISKOMINFO, menerima kritik dan saran dari masyarakat dan menindaklanjutinya sebagai tanggung jawab sosial humas serta membangun sarana dan prasarana bagi masyarakat. Bekerjasama dengan berbagai pihak yang berperan penting dalam kegiatan sosialisasi informasi. Ikut berpartisipasi dalam mensosialisasikan informasi unggulan pemerintah guna menunjang pembangunan nasional.Kata Kunci: Strategi Humas, Sosialisasi, Media Pertunjukan Rakyat
