Abstract. At this time political participation as a collective participation of the community in the process of determining leaders, making public policy, and overseeing the governance process began to appear in plain and proud terms. This is evident when in some regions began to carry out leadership succession in their territory through the election of Regional Heads (Pilkada), either level I or II. Therefore, before the election of the West Java governor and deputy governor which will be held on 27 June 2018, will there be an increase in participation is also felt in the participation of young voters. The objective of the study was to find out the relationship between the frequency of watching CAGUB and CAWAGUB news on the JABAR PILGUB with the level of Bandung City Young Voter Participation, whether there was a relationship between the duration of watching CAGUB and CAWAGUB on the JABAR PILGUB with the level of Bandung City Young Voter participation, was there a relationship between Attention witnessed the reporting of CAGUB and CAWAGUB on the JABAR PILGUB with the level of Bandung's Young Voters' political participation. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a correlation study approach through questionnaire techniques, observation, and data relevant to research. This research was conducted to the resource person. The object of the research was focused on the West Java Pilgub Elector. The results of this research Knowing the Relationship of Frequency Witnessing political news with political participation, Duration Witnessing political news with political participation, Attention Witnessing political news with political participation.Keywords: Young Elector, Frequency, Duration, Attention, Political Participation.Abstrak. Pada saat ini partisipasi politik sebagai peran serta masyarakat secara kolektif di dalam proses penentuan pemimpin, pembuatan kebijakan publik, dan pengawasan proses pemerintahan mulai nampak secara kasat mata dan membanggakan. Hal ini terbukti ketika di beberapa daerah mulai melaksanakan suksesi kepemimpinan di wilayah mereka melalui Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) baik tingkat I atau II. Maka dari itu sebelum pemilihan gubernur dan wakil gubernur Jawa Barat yang akan dilaksanakan pada 27 juni 2018, akankah ada peningkatan partisipasi tersebut juga terasa terhadap partisipasi pemilih muda. Tujuan penelitiana pakah terdapat hubungan antara Frekuensi menyaksikan pemberitaan CAGUB dan CAWAGUB pada PILGUB JABAR dengan tingkat partispasi politik Pemilih Muda Kota Bandung, apakah terdapat hubungan antara Durasi menyaksikan pemberitaan CAGUB dan CAWAGUB pada PILGUB JABAR dengan tingkat partispasi politik Pemilih Muda Kota Bandung, apakah terdapat hubungan antara Atensi menyaksikan pemberitaan CAGUB dan CAWAGUB pada PILGUB JABAR dengan tingkat partispasi politik Pemilih Muda Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi korelasi melalui teknik kuisoner, observasi, dan data yang relevan dengan penelitian. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada narasumber. Objek penelitian difokuskan pada Pemilih Muda Pilgub Jabar. Hasil dari penelitian ini Mengetahui Hubungan Frekuensi Menyaksikan berita politik dengan partipasi politik, Durasi Menyaksikan berita politik dengan partipasi politik, Atensi Menyaksikan berita politik dengan partipasi politik.Kata Kunci: Pemilih Muda, Frekuensi, Durasi, Atensi, Partisipasi Politik. |
