Abstract. This study aims to discuss the use of the Center of Gravity (COG) method and Factor Rating on the relocation of the office and factory locations of PT. Sublimindo due to the location of PT. Sublimindo is less strategic. This COG method determines the location of the midpoint coordinates based on the location of the supplier and the Factor Rating Method to determine potential buildings and compares the total weight value of each building to determine which building has the highest value as an alternative location for PT. Sublimindo is based on the coordinate points generated by the COG method. This type of research used in this research is quantitative descriptive using case study research methods. The result, after an analysis using the COG Method and Factor Rating to determine an alternative location that used to be between PT. Sublimindo and Supllier are 12-14km away, now only 1-2 km and those who usually spend Rp. 72,000,000 for a temporary booking fee if calculated from an alternative location only costs Rp. 28,800,000.Keywords: determination of location, COG, Factor Rating.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas penggunaan metode Center of Gravity (COG) dan Factor Rating pada pemindahan lokasi kantor dan pabrik PT. Sublimindo dikarenakan Lokasi PT. Sublimindo kurang strategis. Metode COG ini menentukan lokasi titik tengah koordinat dari berdasarkan lokasi suppliernya dan Metode Factor Rating untuk menentukan gedung-gedung yang berpotensi dan membandingkan jumlah nilai bobot dari setiap gedung tersebut untuk menentukan gedung yang memiliki nilai paling tinggi sebagai lokasi alternatif untuk PT. Sublimindo berdasarkan titik koordinat yang dihasilkan oleh metode COG. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian studi kasus. Hasilnya, Setelah dilakukan analisis menggunakan Metode COG dan Factor Rating untuk menentukan lokasi alternatif yang dulu lokasi antara PT. Sublimindo dan Supllier berjarak 12-14km sekarang hanya 1-2 km dan yang biasa menghabiskan biaya sebesar Rp. 72.000.000 untuk biaya pemesanan sementara jika di hitung dari titik lokasi alternatif hanya menghabiskan biaya Rp. 28.800.000.Kata Kunci: Penentuan Lokasi, COG, Factor Rating. |
