Abstrak. Spin Off merupakan pemisahan Bank Komersial Konvensional yang mempunyai Unit Bisnis Syariah yang digabung menjadi dua entitas komersial sesuai dengan ketentuan hukum dan peraturan berlaku. Dalam mempelajari fenomena ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan apakah ada perbedaan kinerja keuangan sebelum dan sesudah spin off pada BJB Syariah. Masalah dalam penelitian ini dirumuskan sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimana kinerja keuangan sebelum spin off pada BJB Syariah? (2) Bagaimana kinerja keuangan sesudah spin off pada BJB Syariah? (3) Apakah terdapat perbedaan kinerja keuangan sebelum dan sesudah spin off pada BJB Syariah? Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian komparatif dimana pemilihan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling dan kemudian sampel yang diteliti adalah BJB Syariah, yang dipilih sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah metode uji beda rata-rata menggunakan uji sampel independen yang diolah memakai SPSS Statistics 20. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) terdapat perbedaan tingkat kinerja rasio FDR dan ROA sesudah spin off pada BJB Syariah pada tahun 2006 hingga tahun 2014. (2) tidak terdapat perbedaan kinerja rasio BOPO baik pada sebelum maupun sesudah pemisahan pada BJB Syariah pada tahun 2006 hingga tahun 2014. Keywords: Financial Performance, Financial Ratio, Spin OffAbstract. Spin Off is a separation of a Conventional Commercial Bank that has a Sharia Bussiness. Unit which is merged into two commercial entities in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. In studying this phenomenon, this study aims to determine whether there are differences in financial permormance before and after the spin off at the BJB Syariah. The problems in this study are formulated as follows: (1) What is the financial performance before spin off on BJB Syariah? (2) What is the financial performance after the spin off on BJB Syariah? (3) Are there differences in financial performance before and after the spin off on BJB Syariah? This study is a comparative study in which the sample selection used is purposive sampling technique and then the sample under study is BJB Sharia which is selected according to redetermined criteria. The research method in this study is the average difference test method using an independent sample test processed using SPSS Statistics 20. The result of this study are: (1) there are differences in the level of performance of the FDR and ROA ratios after the spin off on BJB Sharia in 2006 to 2014. (2) There was no difference in the performance of the BOPO ratio both before and after the separation of the BJB Syariah in 2006 to 2014.Kata Kunci: Kinerja Keuangan, Rasio Keuangan, Spin Off |
