Tuberkulosis paru merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh kuman Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Probabilitas terjadinya penyakit stuberkulosis semakin meningkat pada orang dengan faktor resiko HIV, perokok, tinggal di daerah padat, pekerjaan beresiko, pendidikan rendah serta masih banyak faktor lainnya. Prevalensinya pada pekerja kasar dan tingkat pendidikan yang rendah masih cukup tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan karakteristik penderita TB berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan dan pekerjaan dengan gambaran laboratoris pemeriksaan BTA dan tes cepat molecular (TCM) di RS Al-Ihsan Bandung. Penelitian ini bersifat observasional analitik. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling dari data rekam medis dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 36 orang yang masuk dalam kriteria inklusi, periode bulan Januari sampai bulan Juni tahun 2018. Analisis Data menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa hasil BTA 52.77% positif, hasil TCM 94.44% sensitif rifampisin. Pada karakteristik pasien didapatkan 61,11% pasien dengan pendidikan menengah dan 52,8% pasien adalah pekerja tidak kasar. Hasil uji statisik diketahui tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna pemeriksaan BTA (p=0.906) dan TCM (p=0,779) pasien TB paru berdasarkan jenis pekerjaan. Hasil uji statistik pemeriksaan BTA juga tidak terdapat perbedaan (p=0.366), namun pada pemeriksaan TCM terdapat perbedaan bermakna dengan tingkat pendidikan pasien (p=0.001). Hasil berbeda bermakna perlu dilihat kembali kemungkinan adanya sampel yang kurang homogen.Pulmonary tuberculosis is a contagious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The probability of tuberculosis disease increases in people who are risky of HIV, smoking, living in crowded area, having risky occupations, having low education level, and many other factors. The prevalence of laborers and people with low education level is still quite high. The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of TB sufferers based on education level and occupations with laboratory overview of AFB examination and rapid molecular diagnostics (RMD) at Al-Ihsan Hospital Bandung. This study was observational analytic. The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling from medical record data and the number of the data is 36 patients which are included into inclusion criteria from January until June 2018. Data analysis used Chi-square test. The findings show that AFB result is positive with the percentage of 52.77%, while RMD result is sensitive rifampicin with the percentage of 94.44%. From patients’ characteristics, it can be found that 61.11% are patients with middle education level and 52.8% are non-laborers patients. The result of statistical test reveals that there is no significant difference in AFB (p=0.906) and RMD (p=0.779) examinations from pulmonary TB patients based on occupation. On the other hand, there is significant difference in RMD examination (p=0.001) based on education level. This significant difference needs to be reconsidered since the probability of less homogenous sample might exist. |
