Abstract. In this globalization era, the information system applied by a company has a positive impact on the activities of the company so that the goal can be achieved easily. House Of Leather is a company engaged in fashion. The owner of House Of Leather stated that there were several problems experienced with the company’s fuctions. Based on this statement, the researcher aims to analyze the information system that is applied and find some weakness in the current information system. The method used by the author is framework of the application of system thinking method with joint application development. The result of the analysis show that is necessary to develop an information system that is applied because there are some weakness in the sales, purchasing, production department and need for a section who manage the raw materials and quality control of finished good that finished producing. The proposed information system in House Of Leather in the form of a new draft of documents and procedures considered to able to help companies so the activites of company is more effective and efficient so that the company’s goals can be achieved.Keyword : Information System DesignAbstrak. Pada era globalisasi ini, sistem informasi yang diterapkan sebuah perusahaan memberi dampak positif pada kegiatan yang dijalankan perusahaan sehingga tujuan perusahaan dapat tercapai dengan lebih mudah. House Of Leather adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang fashion. Pemilik House Of Leather menyatakan bahwa terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang dialami pada fungsi – fungsi perusahaan. Berdasarkan pernnyataan tersebut, peneliti bertujuan untuk menganalisa sistem informasi yang diterapkan dan menemukan beberapa kelemahan pada sistem informasi yang berjalan. Metode yang digunakan oleh penulis yaitu metode FAST (Framework of the application of system thinking) dan metode JAD (Joint Application Development). Hasil dari analisis menunjukkan bahwa perlu dilakukannya pengembangan pada sistem informasi yang diterapkan karena terdapat beberapa kelemahan pada bagian penjualan, pembelian, dan produksi serta dibutuhkannya bagian yang mengelola bahan baku dan quality control atas barang jadi yang selesai diproduksi. Sistem informasi yang diusulkan pada House Of Leather berupa rancangan baru dokumen – dokumen serta prosedur ynag dinilai dapat membantu perusahaan agar kegiatan perusahaan lebih efektif dan efisien sehingga tujuan perusahaan dapat tercapai.Kata Kunci : Perancangan Sistem Informasi |
