dc.description Abstract. Education aims to create superior individuals both intellectually and in character. Character education is a deliberate effort to help individuals perform core ethical values. The implementation of character education at SDN 190 cisaranten kidul is done through four programs of religious love, cultural love, national defense, and environmental love. Lickona (2012), schools need to make character a school culture. The purpose of research to describe the application of character education at SDN 190 kjelai. Data collection is made using sccp-ii to see schools as community and respect and liability to measure the school's character culture. The method of research used wasa descriptive study with adult sample subjects 7 people and subject children 80 people. The result showed the high aspect of student respect, student support care by elders, support care by parents, respect and the responsibilities of adult subjects and child subjects are high. On the student aspect of their environment conducted a character education campaign by students and abusive aspects of bullying stop rudeness in "different" children.Keywords: education, character education, SDN 190 Cisaranten Kidul.Abstrak. Pendidikan bertujuan untuk menciptakan individu yang unggul dan baik secara intelektual maupun karakter. Pendidikan karakter merupakan usaha yang disengaja membantu individu untuk melakukan nilai-nilai etika inti. Implementasi pendidikan karakter di SDN 190 Cisaranten Kidul dilakukan melalui empat program yaitu cinta agama, cinta budaya, bela negara, dan cinta lingkungan. Lickona (2012), sekolah perlu menjadikan karakter sebagai budaya sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk menggambarkan penerapan pendidikan karakter di SDN 190 Cisaranten Kidul. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan SCCP-II untuk melihat sekolah sebagai komunitas dan Respect and Responsibility untuk mengukur budaya karakter di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi deskriptif dengan sampel subjek dewasa 7 orang dan subjek anak 80 orang. Hasil menunjukkan pada aspek yang termasuk tinggi yaitu student respect, student support care by faculty, support care by parents, menghargai dan tanggung jawab subjek dewasa dan subjek anak termasuk tinggi. Pada aspek student shaping of their environment mengadakan kampanye pendidikan karakter oleh siswa dan aspek perundungan menghentikan kekasaran pada anak “berbeda”.Kata kunci: pendidikan, pendidikan karakter, SDN 190 Cisaranten Kidul
