Abstract. Comics in their performances create humor based on their opinions, anxieties and personal experiences which are conveyed in funny monologues directly to the audience. Komika stand up indo Bandung convey its humor by way of story telling, impersonation, analogy, using funny diction, even in an aggressive and offensive way. This makes every stand-up indo Bandung comic has its own characteristics and uses a different style of humor. Personality is a factor that contributes to the difference in humor style in the stand-up indo Bandung comics. The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between the big-five dimension and the humor style dimension in the stand-up indo Bandung comic. The study population was 25 members of the stand-up indo Bandung komika. This study uses the IPIP-BFM-25 and HSQ measuring instruments. The results of this study showed the relationship between extraversion and affiliative humor r = 0.500, p = 0.011 <0.05, self-enhancing humor r = 465, p = 0.019 <0.05, aggressive humor, r = -0.529, p = 0.007 < 0.05. Agreeableness with affiliative humor r = 0.488, p = 0.013 <0.05, self-enhancing humor r = 0,414, p = 0.040 <0.05, aggressive humor r = -0.440, p = 0.028 <0.05. Conscientiousness with affiliative humor r = 0.482, p = 0.015 <0.05, self-enhancing humor r = 403, p = 0.046 <0.05. Neuroticism with aggressive humor r = 0.560, p = 0.004 <0.05, self-defeating humor r = 0.569, p = 0.003 <0.05. Openness to experience with affiliative humor r = 0.425, p = 0.034 <0.05. This means that it shows a significant relationship between the personality type and the humorous style above with a fairly close category.Keywords : big-five personality, humor style, stand-up comedyAbstrak. Komika dalam penampilannya membuat humor berdasarkan opini, keresahan dan pengalaman pribadinya yang disampaikan dengan monolog yang lucu langsung kepada penonton. Komika stand up indo Bandung menyampaikan humornya dengan cara story telling, menirukan gaya orang lain (impersonasi), analogi, menggunakan diksi lucu bahkan dengan cara yang agresif dan menyinggung. Hal itu membuat setiap komika stand up indo Bandung memiliki ciri khasnya tersendiri dan berbeda-beda dalam menggunakan gaya humor. Kepribadian merupakan faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap perbedaan humor style pada komika stand up indo Bandung. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat hubungan antara dimensi big-five dengan dimensi humor style pada komika stand up indo Bandung. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 25 orang anggota komika stand up indo Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur IPIP-BFM-25 dan HSQ.
