Abstract: Individual and group image framing is necessary, especially for a director. Livi Zheng did this to form an image of himself as a young Indonesian director who had successfully "penetrated" Hollywood. In mid-2019 the image turned around, social media was busy talking about him because he was considered to have lied to the public with all the news published in the media and the publicity he made. There was a news that was published in the online media Tirto.id, this news became the beginning of the 'uproar' of netizens, especially on Twitter, which attacked the figure of Livi Zheng. This is what makes researchers want to see further how the opinion article deconstructs Livi Zheng's image. The research method used is the Framing Analysis model of Ibnu Hamad. The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine the treatment of Livi Zheng's reporting events on Tirto.id, (2) To find out the sources cited in Livi Zheng's news on Tirto.id, (3) To find out how to present Livi Zheng's news stories in Tirto.id, (4) To find out the symbols used in Livi Zheng's news on Tirto.id, (5) To find out the way of thinking (conclusions) in Livi Zheng's news on Tirto.idKeyword – Framing Analysis; Livi Zheng; Tirto.idAbstrak: Pembingkaian citra individu maupun kelompok perlu dilakukan, terlebih untuk seorang sutradara. Livi Zheng melakukan hal tersebut untuk membentuk citra dirinya sebagai sutradara muda Indonesia yang berhasil ‘menembus’ Hollywood. Pada pertengahan 2019 citra tersebut berbalik, media sosial ramai membicarakan dirinya karena dinilai telah membohongi publik dengan segala pemberitaan yang dimuat di media dan publisitas yang dibuat olehnya. Muncul sebuah berita yang dimuat dalam media online Tirto.id, berita tersebut menjadi awal dari ‘kegaduhan’ netizen khususnya di twitter yang menyerang sosok Livi Zheng. Hal ini lah yang membuat peneliti ingin melihat lebih jauh bagaimana artikel opini tersebut melakukan dekonstruksi citra Livi Zheng. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Analisis Framing model Ibnu Hamad. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Untuk mengetahui perlakuan atas peristiwa pemberitaan Livi Zheng di Tirto.id, (2) Untuk mengetahui sumber yang dikutip dalam pemberitaan Livi Zheng di Tirto.id, (3) Untuk mengetahui cara penyajian dalam pemberitaan Livi Zheng di Tirto.id, (4) Untuk mengetahui Simbol yang dipergunakan dalam pemberitaan Livi Zheng di Tirto.id, (5) Untuk mengetahui jalan pikiran (kesimpulan) dalam pemberitaan Livi Zheng di Tirto.idKata kunci – Analisis Framing; Livi Zheng; Tirto.id |
