Abstract: Image Problems An institution is important to measure the strengths and weaknesses of the institution in terms of Quality, Performance, Responsibility and Attractiveness so as to create and maintain perceptions and provide reliable information about the institution. In connection with this research the author takes the title "West Java Province BNN Strategy in Maintaining Image". In accordance with the title that the author chose, the author identifies the problem as follows: BNNP West Java Province is mandated by the state to carry out the Eradication Program for the Prevention of Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking (P4GN). If this program is successful it will improve the image of the institution, but often times The success that has been obtained is often not conveyed because the role of PR is not maximal, for that a strategy is needed to inform the right news, as well as the obstacles that the West Java Provincial BNN in maintaining its image. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study. The results of this study, the West Java BNNP succeeded in maintaining a positive image, because it could reduce the prevalence of drug users in West Java in the 2017 to 2019 period, act professionally and enforce a legal approach in dealing with cases of drug abuse, conduct prevention with a persuasive approach and carry out rehabilitation for drug addicts, so that public trust increases.Keywords: Image, Strategy, Public Relations, DrugsAbstrak: Keberhasilan yang telah diperoleh sering tidak tersampaikan karena peran Humas yang tidak maksimal, untuk itu dibutuhkan strategi menginformasikan berita yang tepat, serta kendala yang dilakukan BNN Provinis Jawa Barat dalam mempertahankan citra. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui strategi program yang dilakukan BNN Provinsi Jawa Barat dalam mempertahankan citra. Untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah strategi yang diambil BNN provinsi Jawa Barat dalam mempertahankan citra. Untuk mengetahui strategi menginformasikan berita tersebut yang dilakukan BNN Provinsi Jawa Barat dalam mempertahankan citra. Serta mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi BNN Provinsi Jawa Barat dalam mempertahankan citra. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil dari Penelitian Ini BNNP Jawa Barat berhasil dalam mempertahankan citra positif, karena dapat menurunkan Prevelensi tingkat pengguna Narkoba di Jawa Barat dalam periode 2017 sampai dengan 2019, bertindak profesional dan menegakkan pendekatan hukum dalam menangai kasus Penyalahgunaan Narkoba, melakukan Pencegahan dengan pendekatan persuasip serta melakukan rehabilitasi untuk pecandu narkoba, sehingga kepercayaan publik meningkat.Kata Kunci : Citra, Strategi, Humas, Narkoba |
