Abstract. Hypertension is a global health problem that requires attention because it can cause major deaths, both in developed and developing countries. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in the Global Status Report on Non-Communicable Disease in 2014, the prevalence of hypertension is around 22%. According to the Ministry of Health in 2017, in Indonesia the incidence of hypertension is around 57.6%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age and sex on the incidence of hypertension. This study used the Scoping Review method, data collection techniques used previous research journals according to the PICO criteria, both national and international, related to the relationship between gender and age with hypertension. Then from the results of the screening, the results were forty one thousand two hundred and forty-five. The results of the feasibility test based on the PICO criteria were obtained as many as eleven journals. This research was conducted during the period October-December 2020. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between gender and age with hypertension.Keywords: Hypertension, WHO, Scoping ReviewAbstrak. Hipertensi merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang membutuhkan perhatian karena dapat menyebabkan kematian utama, baik di negara-negara maju maupun berkembang. Berdasarkan data World Health Organization (WHO) dalam Global Status Report On Non-Communicable Disease pada tahun 2014, prevalensi hipertensi sekitar 22%. Menurut Kemenkes tahun 2017, di Indonesia angka kejadian penyakit Hipertensi sekitar 57,6%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan usia dan jenis kelamin terhadap kejadian Hipertensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Scoping Review, Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan jurnal-jurnal penelitian sebelumnya yang sesuai dengan kriteria PICO, baik Nasional ataupun Internasional yang berkaitan dengan Hubungan Jenis Kelamin dan Usia dengan Penyakit Hipertensi. Database yang digunakan adalah, google scholar, springerlink, dan science direct. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama periode Oktober-Desember 2020. Kesimpulan penelitian yang merupakan hasil review dari jurnal sebelumnya adalah jenis kelamin dan usia mempengaruhi penyakit hipertensiKata Kunci: Hipertensi, WHO, Scoping Review
