Abstract. Age, sex, occupation and marital status can be risk factors for HIV infection transmission, West Java Province is in the third position with the most cases of HIV infection and Bandung is in the first rank in West Java. This research was conducted using a descriptive cross-sectional research method with a total sample of medical records of HIV / AIDS patients in 2019 at Al-Ihsan Hospital, West Java Province. The results showed that 92 patients with HIV / AIDS. Most cases were found in the age group 26-35 years 40 people (43%), male sex 64 people (70%), married 57 people (62%), private workers 20 people (22%), and last education are 65 SMA (71%). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the characteristics of patients with HIV / AIDS are found in the 26-35 year age group who are married, work as private employees and most recently high school education.Key words: AIDS, Characteristics, HIVAbstrak. Usia, jenis kelamin, pekerjaan dan status pernikahan dapat menjadi faktor risiko dalam penularan infeksi HIV, Provinsi Jawa Barat menempati posisi ketiga terbanyak kasus infeksi HIV dan kota Bandung berada di peringkat pertama di Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif cross sectional total sampel dari data rekam medis pasien HIV/AIDS tahun 2019 di RSUD Al-Ihsan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan dari 92 orang pasien penderita HIV/AIDS. Kasus terbanyak ditemukan pada kelompok usia 26-35 tahun 40 orang (43%), berjenis kelamin laki-laki 64 orang (70%), sudah menikah 57 orang (62%), pekerja swasta 20 orang (22%), dan pendidikan terakhir adalah SMA 65 orang (71%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa karakteristik pasien penderita HIV/AIDS ditemukan pada kelompok usia 26-35 tahun dengan sudah menikah, bekerja sebagai karyawan swasta dan pendidikan terakhir paling adalah SMA.Kata kunci: AIDS, HIV, Karakteristik |
