dc.description.abstract Nowadays, Sundanese children rarely use Sundanese in communicating. This is due to the lack of fun in learning Sundanese for children. Therefore, parents and teachers need to introduce fun learning techniques in Sundanese learning that are suitable for children's development. This research employed a quasi-experimental method by testing Koko Koswara's Igel with musical accompaniment from the kacapi directly to the experimental class and comparing it with the control class that did not use Igel as a Sundanese literacy learning technique. The research results showed that Sundanese literacy through Koko Koswara's Igel could improve Sundanese language literacy skills in early childhood. It is revealed from the significant difference between the mean posttest scores of the experimental class and the control class in the Igel ability with a confidence level of 95%. Hence, Koko Koswara's Igel can be an interesting, fun, and meaningful Sundanese learning technique for children en_US
