dc.description.abstract Cinnamon is a Lauraceae family plant that is extensively used in traditional medicine and as a flavoring ingredient. It works as an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent. As a result, the purpose of this study was to analyze the beneficial effect of lip balm cinnamomum burmanii in the management of inflammation. This type of research is a true experiment that was carried out at the Laboratory biomedical Faculty of Medicine Unisba on twenty-seven mice. Animals were divided into three groups of treatment based on the application of therapy agent (control, placebo, and C.burmannii) and three observation time (days 3,7, and 14). Data analysis was performed using SPSS 26.0 software and association analysis using the Kruskal walls test. The results showed that there were no significant differences in the numbers of inflammatory cells among a group. Angiogenesis increased in the C.burmannii group quite significantly (p<0.05). This study highlights lip balm C. burmannii accelerates lip wound healing by inducing angiogenesis in ulcer areas. The application of lip balm C. burmannii might be an alternative to accelerating the lip healing process. Lip balm C. Burmanii may act as a viably sufficient therapeutic for inflammation of the lip by decreasing severe inflammation and increasing the production of neovascularization. en_US
